Tripoli Sports Hall, 2021
The project undertakes a generic sports hall for multiple sites in the city of Tripoli. The design lends the hall for use by various sports, and features a series of educational and recreational functions to serve the local community.
The ground floor of the building connects with the main street via a large foyer that extends to an activity garden. The garden features a dedicated area for the local cafe, and a gathering space for small-scale local outdoor conventions. In addition to the front garden, the design also enables the eastern facade to be open towards the neighboring green to merge the exteriors with the sports hall.
The upper floor houses a fitness hall and coach offices, that are separated from the spectators' foyer via a gallery overlooking the building entrance foyer.
