SCADA Control Center, 2011

SCADA Center is an office building for monitoring electricity power grid along the Black Sea coast cities in Turkey. The program includes a monitoring center (SCADA), a call center, engineer offices and an executive floor. Our design focuses on the monitoring center as the programmatic focus of the building. The office functions are wrapped around the central SCADA hall, enabling visual access to each other. The facades are shaded using a special voronoi script, knitting a digital web around the information centers. Being a LEED candidate, the design pays specific attention to climatic input and efficiency.
